What is the Virtual Insight Panel?
The Virtual Insight Panel is bringing together a wide-ranging group of Minnesotans who will volunteer to shape and inform communications and programs for people with disabilities. The panel was created and is managed by Disability Hub MN in partnership with the Department of Human Services.
What are the Goals of the Virtual Insight Panel?
- Gather and listen to the voices of people with disabilities and those who support them.
- Make it easier for the Hub and its partners to get feedback directly from people with disabilities on programs and communications.
- Applying feedback and using the insights from you to inform the creation of programs, services, and communications.
How does the VIP work?
VIP members will have opportunities to provide feedback online, on the phone, or in person.
Opportunities to participate are no more than one time per month, and may be as few as one to two times a year. Activities may include: Focus groups; One-on-one interviews; Online surveys or polls.
In exchange for their input, participants will be first to know about and give feedback on policy and programmatic changes affecting people with disabilities and, for many opportunities, will receive gift cards as a thank you for their time.
